We were honoured to welcome Ambassador Samantha Power to our offices last week during her book tour of Ireland to promote her memoir, The Education of an Idealist.

Ambassador Power spoke about the need for more women in public life, particularly at local level, and left us more inspired than ever to keep campaigning for more women in Irish politics.

Incredible to see Finland's government being led by five women. Given that the number of women in the Dáil just dropped to 21% we have a lot of catching up to do in Irish politics. Let's hope we see #morewomen in Dáil Eireann after #GE2020
